Hi! Welcome to my first Weebly Post. I wish more people knew about more of the good music that was done between 1955-1972. Good Voices, good melodies and people Danced! Here's some that I like. Go to Youtube, search for these and have a listen. You're never too old to be Groovy.
1. “I’m Into Something Good” by Herman’s Hermits 2. “Please Mr. Postman”, "Can't Buy Me Love", "Yes It Is", "Any Time At All", "Anna", "She Loves You", "I'll Get You", "All My Loving" or "The Night Before" by The Beatles 3. “Yesterday’s Love” "Right By My Side" or "You Tear Me Up" by Ricky Nelson 4. “Kicks” and also "I'm Not Your Steppin' Stone" by Paul Revere & the Raiders 5. “You Really Got Me” by The Kinks 6. "Let's Go" and also "Walk Don't Run" by The Ventures 7. "Because", "Any Way You Want It" or "Catch Us If You Can" by The Dave Clark Five. 8. "Honey and Wine", "I Can't Let Go" or "Here I Go Again" by The Hollies There you have it. That was the main point of this post. For 70's & 80's rock, I like Creedence Ckearwater Revival, R.E.O. Speedwagon, FogHat, Boston, Sammy Hagar, Bryan Adams, John Cougar Mellencamp, Van Halen. "Bluesy-jazz combos" of 4 or 5 people is another favorite of mine. Do a YouTube search for "Oscar Peterson and Ben Webster and Hanover 1972." Good 1st tune. So what do you think? Do you like any of these, above? One more thing....How do YOU like Weebly? How does it compare with Wordpress, Jimdo or Wix.com? I will most likely be making posts about Music, Old TV shows, Books, "fun questions & deep thoughts", YouTube videos and Humor. Keep checking back. Comments welcome. Thanks! #Oldies, #Weebly
